Alumni breakfast: strengthening ties, sharing the De Vinci spirit!
It's back to school time!
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the Léonard de Vinci Campus was delighted to welcome a dozen alumni to a friendly breakfast with the Management and Alumni Services teams.
The event was marked by lively discussions, nostalgia, and above all, a shared sense of pride in belonging to the De Vinci community.
A solid connection with the Pôle
School directors and representatives—Thierry Delecolle, Lidija Nikolic (IIM), and Cécile Frankart (ESILV)—shared campus news, including the opening of the Montpellier campus. They all highlighted the exceptional energy that drives the Pôle, both yesterday and today.
The testimonials from alumni are proof of this! “Brilliant initiative,” “a dynamic that is always there,” “remarkable team spirit” – these are just some of the enthusiastic comments received about this meeting.
Attachment to “the House”
This moment revealed how strong the attachment to the Pôle remains, sometimes thirty years after graduating from the school.
The first graduating classes represented (1998, 2000) recalled the Pôle's pioneering role, with its innovative teaching methods and world-renowned professors, highlighting the unique spirit of the historic campus and the opportunity to have benefited from a high-level education. Many recalled the importance of the campus experience: the encounters, the entrepreneurial energy of the first graduating classes, and the pride of seeing the school grow and flourish today.
The discussions revealed a genuine willingness and desire to contribute actively: they shared their pleasure in passing on their knowledge, whether by participating in internship defenses, entrusting projects to students, sharing their expertise in conferences, or supporting the network's international development. Their enthusiasm is palpable: “We've reached a point in our careers where we want to help.”
A dynamic community
The Alumni Service presented its missions and upcoming events: the mentoring campaign, the cybersecurity conference on October 9, and the Alumni Fair on November 25.
Beyond networking, these highlights are an opportunity to cultivate a true community spirit based on friendliness, commitment, and collective success.
Finally, everyone is already looking forward with enthusiasm to a major event: the 30th anniversary of the Léonard de Vinci Campus. Some even say they are ready to get personally involved in the organization! This anniversary—which is definitely worth celebrating—promises to be a memorable event, driven by the energy and mobilization of its alumni.
This breakfast confirms that, beyond memories, there is a strong desire to contribute, pass on knowledge, and promote the Pôle. As one participant summed it up: “We are the ones who made it famous. Today, we want to help write the next chapter.”
