Global Connections at the De Vinci International Alumni-Students Speed Meeting
As the end of the academic year approaches, international students at the Pôle Léonard de Vinci are preparing to step into the job market. To support them, the Pôle Léonard de Vinci's International Relations department organized a speed meeting, bringing together graduates and students from the EMLV, ESILV, IIM and De Vinci Executive Education schools.
In a friendly and inspiring atmosphere, this meeting encouraged discussions rich in tips, experiences and human connections.
Speed but meaningful exchanges
The speed meeting sessions, organized in three successive rounds, enabled each participant to present his or her career path and professional project in just a few minutes. Following each pitch, constructive feedback was given using an evaluation grid: clarity of project, relevance of objectives, coherence of career path. Advice, experience-sharing and even useful contacts were shared.
Nicolas Glady, Managing Director of the Pôle Léonard de Vinci, emphasized the importance and strength of the alumni network.
The speed meeting and sharing of experiences between alumni and students illustrated the adage: Netwoking or not working!
An evening of sharing and caring
What really stood out was the spirit of goodwill and mutual support that animated the evening. The Alumni in attendance demonstrated their openness and authenticity by sharing their own experiences. Their testimonials provided the students with a source of inspiration and motivation that went beyond technical feedback.
The evening ended with a convivial cocktail reception, where discussions continued freely.
Stay tuned!
This exercise - a first! - was a resounding success, demonstrating once again that, at every stage of a career path, there's always someone ready to listen, guide and inspire.
See you at the next edition!
