During the AGIR Meetings held at the Beffroi de Montrouge, De Vinci Higher Education and the French National Gendarmerie formalized a three-year partnership. This ambitious collaboration aims to strengthen ties between academia and institutional sectors to address key challenges in education and technological innovation.

A collaboration to enhance student education

As part of this agreement, the National Gendarmerie commits to supporting students from De Vinci Higher Education through structured and concrete initiatives.

Key actions include:

  • Immersive internships: enabling students to gain an in-depth understanding of the National Gendarmerie's professions and missions.
  • Academic projects and conferences: developing educational initiatives to enrich students’ knowledge while raising awareness of current security and technological challenges.

These initiatives aim to enhance students’ professional skills and provide a deeper understanding of strategic public security issues.

A joint research initiative to tackle technological challenges

Beyond education, this partnership also includes a collaborative research component. In collaboration with laboratories, researchers, and experts, the two institutions will focus on key areas such as:

  • Cybersecurity: developing innovative solutions to address critical data protection challenges in both public and private sectors.
  • Technological tools for security: designing systems to optimize safety and improve operational efficiency in the field.

These research projects aim to combine expertise and position technological innovation as an essential tool to anticipate future security challenges.

The 2024-2025 action plan: clear objectives for effective implementation

A structured action plan has been defined for the 2024-2025 academic year to ensure the effective execution of this partnership. The program is based on two main goals:

  • Increasing the visibility of the National Gendarmerie among students by informing them about the career opportunities it offers.
  • Facilitating interactions between students and the institution to promote a better understanding of the Gendarmerie’s missions and values.

This action plan will ensure the implementation of concrete initiatives and provide regular monitoring of ongoing projects.

A shared ambition for the future

This partnership illustrates the commitment of De Vinci Higher Education and the National Gendarmerie to combine their expertise to train the professionals of tomorrow and address technological and security challenges together.

The agreement signed during the AGIR Meetings marks an important step in building lasting synergies between academia and institutional stakeholders.

Through this collaboration, the two partners reaffirm their dedication to innovation, knowledge sharing, and contributing to safety and progress.
