Afterwork in Lille: human warmth and sustainable commitment on the agenda
Many thanks for the warm welcome - and legendary warmth! - of the people of Lille, even by adoption. On Wednesday, July 02, we enthusiastically shared a convivial and inspiring moment of exchange around a topical and convincing subject: Sustainable Development and CSR.
Around the table, ideas flowed, commitments were affirmed, and projects took shape. There were impassioned discussions about the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), the re-use of materials, green energy... but also more personal exchanges, fed by everyone's experiences: the supply chain, sport, memories shared within the Pôle, 30 years to celebrate, and promises to return.
Coming back to Lille, certainly!
All the more so since a fine proposal has enriched our prospects: that of Tanguy Palta, ESILV 2019 and Operations Manager at DERICHEBOURG Environnement, which makes ingots... of aluminum. A shiny material, of course, but above all a key player in reuse and the circular economy. A visit to its production unit is now on the agenda - and we obviously said yes!
With the summer heat well underway, we're planning this sustainable industrial immersion for the winter. It's a concrete way of extending our exchanges, exploring solutions for the future and strengthening our collective commitment.
So stay tuned!
