Apprenticeship tax


The apprenticeship tax is a compulsory deduction to finance apprenticeship and initial training programs. Each company is free to choose the educational establishments it wishes to benefit.

For Devinci Higher Education, it represents an essential resource for improving the initial training experience of our 10,000 students and contributing to the development of the EMLV, ESILV, IIM and De Vinci Executive Education, in line with the strategic plan. In concrete terms, it serves to:

  • Expand the range of programs on offer, particularly in growth sectors or with formats that are attractive to international students (e.g.: launch of an Msc Luxury Management program at EMLV or an Aeronautics Industry program in 4th year ESILV in September 2024);
  • Intensify digital acculturation, by training our lecturers in e-learning tools and generalizing multimodal courses;
  • Develop the scientific and technical culture (e.g.: distribution of a white paper this summer on the societal challenges of AI following the hackathon that involved 1,300 A4 students in February);
  • Encourage the transition from research to innovation, by developing experimentation and prototyping, the creation of new institutes (cryptocurrencies, soft skills, etc.) and the acquisition of equipment for FabLabs.
