De Vinci Higher Education, which includes ESILV, EMLV, IIM, and De Vinci Executive Education, has announced its transformation into a purpose-driven organization, marking a pioneering step in the higher education sector. This legal status, introduced by the Pacte Law in 2019, enables De Vinci Higher Education to firmly commit to the future by embedding a purpose along with social and environmental objectives.

By becoming a purpose-driven organization, De Vinci Higher Education reinforces its core identity and unites its institutions around shared values. This transformation consolidates research, teaching, and professional education activities into a single, coherent entity, creating greater alignment for its 10,500 students and academic and professional partners.

De Vinci Higher Education’s mission: preparing students for a changing world

The mission of De Vinci Higher Education is ambitious: to study and prepare for the complexities of a changing world through an interdisciplinary approach. Through its expertise in science, technology, creative fields, and humanities, De Vinci Higher Education aims to equip students with the skills to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.

To achieve this, four key goals guide this transformation into a purpose-driven organization:

  • Delivering high-quality education that is relevant to societal and environmental challenges, with a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Strengthening institutional expertise to create and share impactful knowledge.
  • Fostering academic excellence through inclusive and diverse recruitment practices.
  • Promoting cross-disciplinary and intercultural openness to prepare students to innovate and adapt as global citizens.

Nicolas Glady, General Director of De Vinci Higher Education, explains, "Our transformation project as a purpose-driven organization addresses new expectations for higher education institutions. Our new objectives, shaped by societal challenges, now serve as a compass that guides and brings meaning to every decision and action taken by our institution."

A strategic alliance with AD Education to strengthen international development

Since October 1, De Vinci Higher Education has partnered with AD Education, a leading European private higher education group specializing in creative fields. Founded in 2009, AD Education brings together 23 schools and serves 46,500 students across 75 campuses in nine European countries. This partnership offers De Vinci Higher Education new international opportunities, strengthening its visibility both in France and abroad.

The partnership is built on shared values and a common educational vision, anchored in four strategic areas:

  • Complementary disciplines and programs: De Vinci Higher Education enriches AD Education’s academic offerings with its programs in engineering, management, and digital fields.
  • Shared values of excellence and cross-disciplinary learning: fostering a global, future-oriented pedagogical approach.
  • Hybrid skill development: the alliance promotes interdisciplinarity with programs integrating management, engineering, and creative fields.
  • International opportunities: students now have access to a network of campuses in nine European countries, offering enriching mobility prospects.

Martin Coriat, General Director of AD Education, states, "This alliance is an incredible opportunity for our students, combining our program offerings and expertise in management, engineering, and creative fields. With nine European countries represented, the international perspective enables a unique value proposition for our students."

Strengthened positioning in the european higher education market

Thanks to this strategic alliance, De Vinci Higher Education strengthens its positioning in the European higher education market. Including De Vinci’s students, AD Education now unites 23 schools with a total of 46,500 students, including 23,000 in France. The network spans 75 campuses across nine European countries, further establishing the group as a leader in international education.

The transformation of De Vinci Higher Education into a purpose-driven organization not only distinguishes it through social commitment but also brings unique added value to its alliance with AD Education, aligning with shared values of diversity, excellence, and innovation.
