Who is Alain Bauer?
Alain Bauer, an internationally renowned professor, holds the chair of criminology at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) in France, as well as at the universities of New York and Shanghai. This discipline, founded by the famous sociologist Émile Durkheim, is at the heart of Alain Bauer's expertise, and he actively contributes to its academic and professional development.
Recognised expertise in security and terrorism
Alain Bauer's expertise is widely sought in the fields of security, criminology, cyberthreats and defence. He regularly advises public authorities and various private institutions on critical issues such as the fight against terrorism and cyber attacks.
