Finding your voice and setting boundaries
As a woman, you face specific challenges in the professional environment. The biases of other people's perceptions, and even our own, tend to make women's career paths more complicated. But this is not inevitable. We certainly can't change the system, but there's nothing to stop us carving out a path that makes sense. The mistake would be to try to fit into a mold of expectations that weren't designed for us, and towards which we start off with a basic handicap. By playing catch-up, we run the risk of either being “too much” or “not enough”, so we lose out every time.
Instead, we'll be looking at how to set a feminine tone and clear limits, for a career and life more in harmony with who you are.
