Inauguration of the Terrasses Campus of Devinci Higher Education

Devinci Higher Education recently opened the doors of the Campus des Terrasses, located in the heart of the peri-Défense business district on rue des 3 Fontanot in Nanterre. This new 7-storey building can accommodate up to 1,200 students and covers an area of more than 5,200 m². An investment of €10 million has been devoted to renovating the building.

A strategic multi-site development

The Campus des Terrasses is the fifth site of Devinci Higher Education, which is continuing its expansion with four campuses in Paris-La Défense (the historic Campus, Campus Cyber, Campus de l'Arche and Campus des Terrasses) and one in Nantes. These new sites are part of an overall plan that includes the Campus de l'Arche, due to open in 2022, and the future Campus du Parc in Nanterre, scheduled for 2026. In total, these three sites represent almost 30,000 m² of educational space, with a total investment of €200 million.

An innovative and eco-responsible infrastructure

The Campus des Terrasses plays a key role in Devini Higher Education's strategy for innovative, cross-disciplinary teaching. It is already welcoming work-study students from EMLV and ESILV, as well as finance students from ESILV. Facilities include 30 classrooms, coworking spaces, two cafeterias, video studios, a Bloomberg room for market simulations and a creativity room. The campus aims to enrich the student experience by adopting the most recent pedagogical and technological innovations.

A strong commitment to sustainability

Located in the immediate surroundings of public transport, the Campus des Terrasses is at the heart of a dynamic district home to major companies such as AXA, Vinci, Groupama and BNP Paribas. The building has been renovated in a sustainable manner, reducing CO₂ emissions by 60% compared to a new build, or around 370 tonnes. It has obtained several environmental certifications, including:

Raphaël Adam, Mayor of Nanterre, comments: "Alongside the University of Paris-Nanterre and its 35,000 students, Nanterre is home to a number of private higher education establishments, which will soon account for almost 20,000 students.
